One held for uploading porno clips
Hyderabad, Aug 13 (INN): The Hyderabad City Police on Saturday arrested a person on the charges of uploading porno clippings into the mobile phones. According to police, the accused, 29-year-old Mohd Hafeez used to upload porno clips into the mobile phones of known customers from his shop 'Young Seasons Gifts' located at Karkhana in Secunderabad
After passing SSC, Hafeez worked as a salesman in Abids for about two years. In 2008, he joined as an assistant in Young Season Gifts and after the shop owner went abroad he was running the shop. Due to huge competition, he started incurring losses and was facing financial problems.
To overcome financial troubles, he started downloading the porno clippings from the sites through internet and uploading the same into the mobile phones of known customers. For each clip Hafeez used to charge Rs 100 to Rs 150 from each depending upon the customer.
On a tip off, North Zone Task Force team led by inspector L.Raja Venkat Reddy foiled this business through decoy operation. Police also seized one CPU, Monitor, External Hard Disk, Card reader and memory card from his possession. The accused along with the seized property were later handed over to Karkhana Police Station for further investigation.
The city police have advised the parents to check the mobile phones of their children, particularly teenagers to prevent such crimes.
