SIFC condemned the arrest of Anna Hazare New Jersey, Aug 16: Save India from Corruption, an NRI organisation fighting against corruption condemned the arrest of Anna Hazare in New Delhi today. Harikishan Eppanapally, promoter of the organisation demanded for the immediate release of Anna Hazare who is peacefully protesting along with thousands of Indian citizens against the corruption.
As overseas citizens of India we fully support this movement of freedom from corruption, said Harikishan in New Jersey. He demanded for the immediate release of Anna Hazare and all the peaceful protesters who were arrested in New Delhi. He also demanded the that the government should immediately present the draft of Jan Lok Pal bill prepared by the team Anna Hazare in Parliament and adapt.
Save India from Corruption (SIFC) also demanded for an immediate ordinance declaring all the black money stashed away in safe heavens as National treasure. SIFC asked the Indian government to declare all the names of the corrupt politicians and public servants and enact laws to punish them severely so that the people fear to commit such acts in the future. SIFC also demanded the Indian Government to enter into bilateral agreements with the safe heaven countries to bring back the national treasure and use it to pay off the debt and use it for national development.
