Rosaiah, TGV and GMR to attend NRIVA Convention in DC Washington DC: NRI Vasavi Association (NRIVA) is going to organise its first Global Convention and Youth Conference in Washington DC at the Hyatt Dulles hotel near Dulles Airport from September 3rd to 5th, Founder and President Anand Garlapati said in a press release.
Head quartered in Atlanta, Georgia, NRIVA was started in 2007 to serve the underpreviliged in the society by adopting 300 students and by helping many others with health and other emergency conditions. NRIVA has quickly grown to 3,000 members with 27 Chapters in United States of America. NRIVA is connecting the Telugu community for Service and helping the underprevileged while promoting History, Culture and Tradition, said Anand Garlapati.
Dr. Konijeti Rosaiah, ex Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, TG Venkatesh, Minister of Minor Irrigation, Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao, Chairman of the GMR Group of Industries, D.H. Shankara Murthy, Chairman of Karnataka Legislative Council and Tiruppavai Kokila Manjula Sree will be attending the Convention as Chief Guests.
US$ 250k Matching Grant from GMR
After watching 4 years of quality and sincere service of NRIVA, the well known Philanthropist who donated all of his stock in the GMR Industries to Charity, Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao announced a $250,000 matching grant to NRIVA, said Anand Garlapati in the press release. GMR will be lauching the GMR-NRIVA matching grant program at this Global Convention.
