Govt to rehabilitate Muslim youth Hyderabad, Aug 26 (INN): Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy announced that government would rehabilitate the youth who were wrongly arrested on the charges of being involved in the Mecca Masjid blasts. He said the government would take steps to instil confidence among them and would provide other assistance required.
Speaking in Urdu-Hindi mix accent as the host of an Iftar and dinner party at Nizam College Grounds on Friday, the Chief Minister said that in addition to the four percent reservations, the government was providing scholarships to the minority students on a saturation basis and also financial assistance for Haj pilgrims.
He said the State Government has sanctioned another Haj house near the Shamshabad Airport and also a study circle for the Muslim students. Earlier the Chief Minister also attended the Maghrib prayer at the venue.
The Chief Minister assured that his government would take all steps for the welfare of Muslim minorities in the State. He sought the cooperation of all Muslims to maintain peace, development and progress of the state.
