Man beats wife to death
Hyderabad, Aug 27 (INN): A 40-year-old woman died on the spot after she was brutally beaten up her husband. The incident occurred in Christian Colony in the limits of Ghatkesar Police Station late on Friday night.
According to Ghatkesar inspector TH Srikanth, the deceased A Sharada had a quarrel with her husband Sattaiah, a private employee, over the financial problems that the family was facing for the last few months.
Out of rage, Sattaiah hit Sharada with wooden log on the head and left the house. Sharada's head injury led to profuse bleeding and she fell unconscious instantaneously.
About an hour later her son Gopi reached the house and found his mother lying in a pool of blood. He immediately shifted her to a nearby hospital where she declared dead on arrival.
Ghatkesar police registered a case of murder against Sattaiah, who is still absconding. Sharada's body has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
20-year-old youth murdered in Bahadurpura
Hyderabad, Aug 27 (INN): A 20-year-old youth died of a head injury that he suffered after being hit by an iron rod by his friend in Bahadurpua on Friday night.
According to Bahadurpura inspector G Bhiksham Reddy, the deceased Shaik Saddam, used to work as welder along with three other workers - Rahmat, Mohammad and Umair in a shop owned by Quddu in Bahadurpura.
On Friday night, Rahmat and Umair started quarreling on some petty issue. Saddam and Mohammad tried to intervene and pacify them. But in a fit of rage, Rahmat hit Saddam with an iron rod on head causing serious wound.
Saddam was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital for treatment. However, Saddam succumbed to the head injury late on Friday night. The Bahadurpura police registered a case of murder against Rahmat and started investigations.
