Darling Cave - A modern Mehfil in Medchal Hyderabad: Cyberabad police on Monday night raided a hotel on the outskirts and arrested 19 customers and two hotel staff for organising obscene dancing and serving liquor without obtaining permission.
Medchal police inspector V Yadagiri Reddy said, 'on a tip off we reached the hotel Darling Cave located on Rajiv Rahadari road in Medchal 11.30 pm. As many as 19 customers were seated in the sofas and they were made comfortable with four air- conditioners.
Six girls wearing inner garments were seen dancing to the the tracks played by a DJ. They were seen dancing around the customers and seducing them, who in trun, threw currency notes on them. Liquor is also served to the customers even though they don't have a permission to do so.'
Five of the girls rescued hail from Mumbai and one from the city. It is learnt that the girls are paid huge amounts ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 for 15 days. All of them have come to the city for a trip from Bellary in Karnataka. 'Most of the arrested are realtors and have come to the city for a trip. We are yet to know from where these organisers attracted them and since when such activities are going on.'
Medchal police registered a case under Section 294 (obscene acts) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and have arrested the night in- charge and are yet to arrest the manager. They were arrested as they were accused of forcing the the girls to attract customers with seductive 'obscene dance and act'.
