20 injured in bus-lorry collision Hyderabad, Sept 08 (INN): At least 20 persons sustained injuries when an APSRTC bus collided with a stationary lorry near Rampalli in Keesara mandal in Rangareddy district. The accident occurred in the wee hours of Thursday.
The police said that the mishap took place when the RTC bus of Kushaiguda depot coming from Rampalli RTC colony in Keesara mandal to Secunderabad hit the stationary lorry laden with cement bags from the rear side. In the mishap, the front portion of bus was completely damaged.
Most of the passengers were reportedly asleep when the accident occurred. The injured were immediately rushed to the Gandhi Hospital for treatment. The condition of three injured passengers is said to be critical.
Police said the mishap took place due to bus driver's negligence. However, police registered a case and started investigations.
