Mohammad Pahelwan gets bail in Akbar attack case Hyderabad, Sept 08 (INN): The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday granted bail to Mohammad Bin Omer Yafai alias Mohammad Pahelwan, the main accused in the attack case on MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi.
The High Court has also granted bail to five other accused - Hasan Bin Omer Yafai, Esa Bin Younus Yafai, Yahiya Bin Younus Yafai, Fazal Bin Ahmed Yafai and Faisal Bin Ahmed Yafai.
Mohammad Pahelwan along with 14 others including his close relatives was arrested by the Central Crime Station for their alleged involvement in the assassination bid on MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi near Barkas on April 30.
Akbar was attacked with lethal weapons by a group while he was returning from his Chandrayangutta constituency after a padyatra.
Earlier, the court granted bail to Yonus Bin Omer Yafai, the elder brother of Mohammed Pahelwan, Bahadur Ali Khan alias Munawar Iqbal and Awad Bin Younus Yafai.
