T lecturers stages dharna at Gun Park
Hyderabad, Sept 14 (INN): The Telangana Rashtra Lecturers Samithi on Wednesday conducted a mass dharna at Gun Park demanding that the Centre introduce Telagana Bill in the Parliament.
Talking to reporters, Samithi's president Sridhar said lecturers from the Telangana region have boycotted their duties and would continue to do so till Telangana state is formed.
Besides, lecturers would also participate in dharnas and other agitational programmes across the region. He said that the lecturers would organise one-day hunger strike in all Telangana districts on Thursday.
Later, the lecturers went to Indira Park to express their solidariy with other associations holding protests demanding statehood for Telangana.
