APSP Constable attempts suicide Hyderabad, Sept 15 (INN): A constable of Andhra Pradesh Special Police attempted suicide by consuming pesticide here on Thursday morning. According to Hussaini Alam inspector Venkat Reddy, the constable, 20-year-old Krupanandam, was a constable APSP Second Battalion and was attached to the Hussain Alam Police Station.
On Thursday morning he reportedly consumed some pesticide and fell unconscious. He was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital for treatment. Police suspect that family problems could have led Krupanandam to resort to extreme step.
His parents have reportedly got seperated and police suspect that it could be the reason that led him to attempt suicide. Krupanandam is said to be in a critical condition.
