Gang of four robbers held Hyderabad, Sept 18 (INN): The North Zone team of Commissioner's Task Force on Sunday arrested a gang of four youth on the charges of robbery. Police have also seized Rs. 18,000 cash, two knives and three cell phones from their possession.
According to police the accused - Mohammed Shareef, Mohammed Yousuf, Mohammed Shamsheer and Mohammed Javeed were aged between 28-31 years and used to works as drivers.
They were childhood friends and hailed from the same locality in Begum Bazar. The main accused Mohammed Shareef's paternal Yousuf Jani took his help in resolving a land dispute. However, he did not pay any remuneration to him after the work was done.
To take revenge, they conducted a robbery in Shareef's house at knifes point. Later, they shared the booty among themselves. On a tip off, the North Zone team arrested the accused and seized the stolen property. They were later handed over the Begumbazar police station for further action.
