Police seize Rs 7 lakh property in fraud case Hyderabad, Sept 23 (INN): The Central Crimes Police Station has claimed that it has seized nearly Rs 7 lakh worth of property from the accused of a fake job racket.
Basing on a complaint filed by the victims, the City Police arrested a gang consisting of T Vijaya Laxmi, Mukum Rao Satish Phuke, Venkatesh Prasad and headed by P Sandhya Rani, who used to cheat the innocent and unemployed on the pretext of providing jobs and loan of 'pavala vaddi' scheme from SBI.
According to Detective Department DCP J Satyanarayana, the cases booked at Mahankali, Gopalapluram, Market, Sultan Bazar and Begumpet police stations were transferred to the CCS.
The Anti-Homicide Team inspector P Pratap Reddy and his staff took the police custody of the main accused Sandhya Rani from a Criminal Court and on her confessions seized about 18 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs 1,89,990. He said efforts were on arrest the absconding accused and to recover the remaining case property.
