Emirates flies direct from DFW to India via Dubai Dallas, Texas: Emirates is going to start direct flights from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Airport to India via Dubai, said Prasad Thotakura, General Secretary of IAFC and President of TANA.
"On behalf of the Indian American Friendship Council (IAFC), recently we have asked the DFW based Asian American community to participate in a survey to show our support to have direct flights to India via Gulf. We sincerely thank thousands of people who have participated and showed their strong support to have direct flights from Dallas Fort Worth air port to India. I'm glad that Emirates heard our unified voice and starting the DFW-Dubai-India flights from February, 02, 2012." We sincerely thank Emirates management for listening the community voice and taking an immediate action, said Prasad Thotakura.
Emirates, one of the world's fastest growing airlines, unveiled major new expansion plans for the United States today, announcing new service to Dallas/Fort Worth. Starting 2nd February 2012, EK 221 will leave Dubai daily at 02:45hrs, arriving at Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas at 09:05hrs. The return sector, EK 222, leaves Dallas at 11:50hrs, arriving at Dubai International Airport at 12:20hrs the following day. Bookings have been started already and people can book their tickets now.
With a fleet of 157 aircraft and now also the largest A380 operator in the world, Emirates currently flies to 114 destinations in 67 countries.
