Mother, son found murdered
Hyderabad, Oct 01 (INN): A 35-year-old woman and her 13-year-old son were found murdered at their house in the limits of Rajendra Nagar police station on Saturday.
According to police, the local residents of Manikyamma Nagar Colony have informed the local police station that foul smell was emanating from a house which was locked from outside.
The police broke open the lock and were shocked to see the dead bodies of a woman and a boy. The local residents identified the deceased as Geetha and her son Chandu. Both the bodies were high decomposed.
Both were brutally murdered as their throats were found slit with a sharp edged weapon. The woman also had a head injury. Police have shifted the bodies to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
According to police, the deceased Geetha's husband Yadaiah is missing. Police has registered a case of double murder and started investigations.
