Sabita Reddy's nephew dies in car mishap HYDERABAD: A close relative of home minister P Sabita Indra Reddy was killed in a road accident in Ranga Reddy district in the early hours of Sunday. The incident occurred when the car in which he was travelling crashed into a road divider and turned turtle leading to his death, police said.
The deceased, A Venkatram Reddy (40), was the son of ex-minister late Indra Reddy's sister. Venkatram Reddy stays in Shankarapally while his wife and two children stay at Attapur.
Police said, Venkatram was on his way to the city to take his family to Shankarapally for Dasara. He was driving his Tata Indica when he met with the accident.
'Around 1.30 a.m, Venkatram crashed his car into a road divider near Shankarapally due to which the car turned turtle and Venkatram suffered head injuries and died,' police inspector K Shiva said. He was alone in the car during the mishap.
It was not yet known whether the accident took place due to overspeed or Venkatram dozed off while driving.
