Housewife succumbs to burns
Hyderabad, Oct 03 (INN): A 21-year-old woman succumbed to the burn injuries that she sustained after setting herself ablaze following alleged harassment by her husband.
According to Miyapur police, the deceased Farheen Fatima was married to one Maqdoom Ali of Prem Nagar during May this year. However, Maqdoom started harassing her and even threatened to give divorce to her.
Following his harassment, Farheen set herself on fire after pouring kerosene at her in-laws residence on September 16. She was later admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where she died in the wee hours of Monday. Miyapur police are investigating the case.
