Infant found dead
Hyderabad, Oct 07 (INN): The City Police on Friday found the dead body of a new born female baby near on the steps of river Musi near Nayapul.
According to police, stray dogs have eaten away the abdominal part of the baby. Police was yet to establish whether the baby was abandoned by the parents while she was alive or they have kept the dead body which eaten away by the dogs.
Initially, police even suspected that some stray dogs might have brought the baby from the Government Maternity Hospital. However, since no complaint of missing baby came from the hospital, this possibility was ruled out. The Charminar police registered a case and started investigations.
