NATS to conduct more Social Activities and Kids Events
Dallas, Texas: North America Telugu Society (NATS) held its Executive Committee and Board Of Directors meeting in Dallas, TX on October 1st and 2nd, 2011.
The meeting discussed the 2 year roadmap for service initiatives and identified Key Initiatives.
NATS Balala Sambaralu Event will be held in Atlanta on November 12th and in New Jersey on November 13th, Dallas on November 19th and Memphis on November 20th. NATS will organize a Free Flu Shot Clinic at NATS Balala Sambaralu for NATS Members in Dallas on Nov 19th.
A Free Medical Clinic Facility will be opened soon in NJ that will be operated two days a week with doctors available at the facility to provide basic health care check ups. Board of Director Gangadhar Desu will lead the initiative. Several other service initiatives were identified which will be communicated by the local chapters soon.
TANTEX Executive Committee attended the meeting to express its solidarity and support to co-host the 2013 NATS America Telugu Sambaralu to be held in Dallas , TX on July 4th, 5th and 6th, 2013.
2013 conference Planning Workshops were held during this two day meeting and Conference planning and advisory committees were formed.
Local NATS Dallas Chapter committees were thanked and applauded by EC & BOD for organizing the Gandhi Jayanthi Food Drive and Volleyball tournament and also suporting TDF Bhathukamma Festival during the weekend.
