Labour contractor found murdered
Hyderabad, Oct 12 (INN): A 40-year-old man was found murdered at his residence in Katedhan area in the Shivarampally police limits. According to police, the deceased Vijaya Prasad was a native of Jharkhand and he was living in a rented room in Katedhan area along with two other friends.
He was a labour contractor. However, his room was locked from outside for the last two days. On Wednesday, on receiving complaint from the neighbours that some foul smell was emanating from a locked room, police came to the spot and broke open the room.
Police found the decomposed body of a man who was later identified as Vijaya Prasad. Police suspect that his friends might have murdered him on October 10 over some financial dispute by throwing a boulder on his head. The body has been shifted to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. Further investigations are on.
