TLCA Dussehra and Deepavali Celebrations on 22nd New York: Telugu Literary and Cultural Association (TLCA) is celebrating Vijaya Dasami and Deepavali festivals in a grand manner on October 22nd Saturday at Ganesh Temple Auditorium in New York, Vikram R. Jangam, President and V. Nagendra Gupta, Secretary informed in a press release. On behalf of the TLCA Committee, the President and Secretary invited all the Telugu people in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Tri State area to come and join us celebrations with family and friends.
The program contains performances by the most talented local children as well as adults, who have recently won the TLCA 2011 Competitions. There is also a Special Fashion Show on the theme of "Naadu, Nedu, Repu" - Past, Present and Future: 1970's , 1980's, 1990's, 2000's and 2011's+.
There will be a musical concert by Nandi Award Winner Kousalya and Revanth. Comedy Skits and Stand-up Comedy by well known Telugu Movie Artists Delhi Rajeshwari and Geeta. Also there will be a performance from the young and talented actor Varun Sandesh.
The Telugu Literary and Cultural Association (TLCA) of NY, NJ, CT is one of the earliest Indian Associations in North America started in 1971. The TLCA was formed with the primary goal of promoting the Telugu Literary and Cultural Activities in the Tristate area.
