Six injured as RTC bus rams into vehicles Hyderabad, Oct 15 (INN): At least six people were injured, two of them seriously, when a RTC bus lost control and hit many vehicles on the busy Banjara Hills Road here on Saturday evening.
The accident happened when the RTC bus - AP-10 Z-5981 of HCU depot lost control near Pension Office on Banjara Hills Road No 12 and hit one Omni Van, one Maruti 800, one auto-rickshaw and three bikes before coming to a halt.
The bus was coming from Kondapur and going toward Koti. The driver fled from the spot after the accident. Source said that the driver was hired by the RTC management due to the on-going general strike. The seriously injured persons were shifted to a private hospital for treatment. Banjara Hills police registered a case and are investigating.
