Three robbers with fire arms held Hyderabad, Oct 30 (INN): The City Police on Sunday arrested three youth on the charges of robbery in multiple cases. The police have also seized one country made fire arm with 12 live rounds, one sword and one dummy revolver from their possession.
The arrested accused persons have been identified as 22-year-old Md Jaweed, Ashraf Saha (18) and Jaan Mohammad (18). While Jaweed and Ashraf are natives of Uttar Pradesh, Jaan is the resident of Chandrayangutta in the city.
Police said that during last week, the accused Jaweed and Ashraf came to Hyderabad by procuring a country made single shot fire arm of 8.mm bore and 12 live catridges, a hand sword and a dummy revolver in Delhi through a known source with an intention to commit a robbery at a jewellery shop in Charminar area with the help of another accused Jaan.
In Hyderabad they took a shelter in the house of Jahn Mohammed, located in Noori Nagar in Chandrayangtta. They also organized reccee at the jewellery shops of Charminar area. However, the plan was foiled due to their arrest.
During enquiry it was also found that they were involved a robbery case in Noida of New Delhi and were evading arrest, police said. The arrested accused persons along with seized material were handed over to Chandrayangutta Police Station for taking necessary action.
