Nov 1st is Black Day in Telangana: TDF
New Jersey: November 1st is infamous for people of Telangana, on this day the Telangana people were duped in the name of one language, Telangana Development Forum (TDF) President Murali Chintalpani said in a press release. It is the day that established Andhra hegemony over the people and resources of Telangana. Shamefully the colonial victors celebrate it as an official celebration day, TDF criticized.
Be it known that we, Telanganites, see Nov 1st celebrations an insult to our genuine constitutional aspirations and consider its official sponsorship as nothing but a provocation to people of Telangana, TDF said. TDF-USA unanimously urges Telangana people to reject November 1st by wearing black badges and protest the unconstitutional methods adopted by Andhra Rulers lobbying at the center. TDFUSA requests government of India to resolve the Telangana issue as soon as possible by granting separate state, Murali Chintalpani said.
