Theft at Banjara Hills temple
Hyderabad, Nov 2 (INN): Some unknown burglars committed theft of silver articles and other valuables from the Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple located at Rd No 14, Banjara Hills.
Basing on a complaint lodged by temple pujari Srinivas Venkat Sharma, the Banjara Hills police registered a case and started investigation. Police said that the burglars broke open the temple locks on Tuesday night and committed the theft.
As per the complaint, nearly 8 kilograms of silver articles and other valuables, all worth nearly Rs 10 lakh have been stolen from the temple.
