Grand welcome for Paritala Suneetha and family in NJ

Edison, New Jersey: Telugu Desam Party fans in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania gave a warm welcome and felicitated late Paritala Ravi's wife and MLA Smt. Paritala Suneetha on 24th December at Royal Albert's Palace Edision, New Jersey. Paritala Ravi's both sons Mr. Paritala Sreeram, Paritala Siddartha and other family members Krishna Rao, Sailaja, Harsha also attended the event.

Smt Paritala Suneetha lit the lamp and the event started off with a documentary 'Asthaminchani Ravi' on the life history of late Sri Paritala Ravindra.

Vamsi Priya anchored the event. She enthralled the audience by singing beautiful songs especially 'Jagadananda Karaka' from Sri RamaRajyam. Also the kids from local dance school enthralled the audience with their amazing performances.

Mr. Venkat Garikapati who organized the event, welcomed the guests and the audience. During the welcome speech, he provided a glimpse of Paritala Ravi in politics and he welcomed Paritala Sreeram (Late Paritala Ravi's son) into the politics which got thunderous response from Audience. Dr. Babu Rao Doddapaneni gave an inspirational speech followed by Ravi Potluri, Harnath Doddapaneni, Sateesh Vemana, Bhaktha Bhalla, Lakshmi Devineni, Mohana Krishna Mannava and Radhakrishna Nallamala, who all made feisty speeches and remembered Paritala Ravi.

In her speech, Smt. Paritala Suneetha remembered the entry of Paritala Ravi into politics in 1992, when there was no law & order and no safety for women in Anantapur district, she also re-collected the welfare programs organized by Paritala Ravi, like conducting 5000+ marriages for poor people and construction of temples, kalyana mandapas, degree college in penukonda, schools in all the villages in penugonda constituency, scholarships for poor students etc. She said, she wants to continue all the programs started by Paritala Ravi, Paritala Ravi Charitable trust was formed to fulfill the dreams of Paritala Ravi, trust is helping the poor students by providing scholarships & conducting marriages for poor people and also adopted two villages (Nidjoor, Bhavapuram) in kurnool disctrict which got affected by floods. She wanted to start an old age home near Venkata Puram.

Paritala Suneetha sincerely wished Telugu Desam party will come back into power and Chandrababu Naidu will become chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for 3rd time. She also urged the NRIs to extend their support and campaign making good use of Information Technology through phones and Internet to pass on the good words about Telugu Desam's committed service to all sections of the people. She also said some body called from India and asked her, what is good in USA, she replied 'Paritala fans are good in USA'. She expressed her thanks to all Telugu Desam party and Paritala Fans.

Smt. Paritala Suneetha garu was felicitated with Shawl and memento by Venkat Garikapati and Baburao Doddapaneni.

The felicitation followed by Luncheon party which was held from 12:00PM to 3PM was attended by more than 400 people. Prominent Telugu community Leaders Babu Rao Doddapaneni, Sateesh Vemana- TANA Treasurer, Naren Kodali ' TANA Trustee, Damu Gedela, Harnath Doddapaneni, Mohana Krishna Mannava ' NATS Regional Co-ordinator, Sailaja Adluru ' TAGDV president, Ravi Potluri - TAGDV Secretary, Bhakta Bhalla, Ramana Ganne, Ravi Pothuru, Lakshmi Devineni, Punnam Manthena, Prasad Kunisetty, Sudheer Thummala, NRC Naidu, Sambaiah Kotapati, Harinath Bungatavula, Ravi Veeravalli, Prasad Kangala, DS Prasad and Anil Boppudi.

All the Telugu Desam party fans pledged that they will continue to support Paritala Family and paid rich tributes to Mr. Paritala Ravi and observed two minutes of silence to the departed soul of Paritala Ravi.

Mr. Venkat Garikapati was felicitated by Telugu Desam Party fans for organizing such a wonderful event, also thanked the community leaders Sateesh Vemana, Naren Kodali and Bhaktha Bhalla who traveled from other places to attend this event.

The program for the evening was ended with a Vote of Thanks by Mohana Krishna Mannava.

Paritala Suneetha's visit is coordinated by Ravi Potluri and the event was a grand success due to contributions from several people Harish, Prathap Nimmagadda, Rayani Chandu, Suresh Garikapati and Ravi Pothuru.
