TDP fans rallied in NJ to support Babu's Paadayaatra




Highland Park, New Jersey, USA: In support of Telugu Desam Party President Nara Chandra Babu Naidu's 'Vasthunnaa Mee Kosam' paadayathra, TDP supporters in New Jersey conducted 'Sangheebhaava Sadhassu' in Highland Park, NJ which received tremendous response from TDP supporters in spite of a very short notice.

A huge 70 cars rally was conducted by enthusiastic TDP fans during the starting of the event reminding TDP's events in Andhra Pradesh and expressed their continued support to Telugu Desam party.

Later, TDP supporters participated in a long paadayathra to express solidarity to Chandra Babu Naidu's 'Vasthunnaa Mee Kosam' yaathra. In spite of very cold weather, still lot of Telugu Desam supporters participated in the paadayathra enthusiastically and raised slogans of 'Jai Telugu Desam', 'Jai NTR', 'Jai Chandrababu'. They also displayed different placards highlighting the past achievements in TDP's governance and also the problems, people are currently facing in the state.

This event was organized and coordinated by Mohana Krishna Mannava with the help of Ramesh Nuthalapati, Ranjit Chaganti, Srihari Mandadi, NRC Naidu, Radha Krishna Nallamala, Vishnu Aluru, Chandrasekhar Konidela, Venu Palyam and Ravishankar Pamidimukkala.

The following team - Sudhir Tummala, Ravi Bhoga, Prasad Gurram, Jayaprakash Guttha, Vasu Tupakula, Harikrishna Veeravalli, Sridhar Donepudi, Srinivas Oruganti actively helped in making this event a great success.

Sreedhar Appasani anchored this event. Mohana Krishna Mannava gave welcome speech and thanked the attendees. Later, Dr.Babu Rao Doddapaneni, Ravi Potluri, Jitendra Atluri, Damu Gedela, Harnath Doddapaneni, Seshu Kanuri, Ramesh Nuthalapati, Radha Krishna Nallamala, Asha Vaikuntham, Padmaja Rani, Srinivas Yenduri spoke on various topics and their speeches received great response from the attendees.

Telugu Desam MP, Mr.Sujana Chowdary attended the event as chief guest and appreciated the initiative and effort of local TDP supporters. There was a long open forum and he answered to all the questions from the attendees. He also invited input and suggestions from the attendees for the betterment of the party.

TDP MLAs Mr.Revanth Reddy and Mr.Dhulipalla Narendra spoke to all the attendees in Telemeeting and briefed about Chandrababu Naidu's paadhayathra and requested active participation and support from NRI community in spreading Telugu Desam's policies and the past good work of Telugu Desam party. The speeches from Revanth Reddy and Dhulipalla Narendra received roaring response from the crowd.

Also, TDP MLAs Paritala Sunitha and Payyavula Keshav were scheduled to speak to the attendees, however coincidentally they were in the paadayathra along with Mr.Chandrababu Naidu during this event and due to bad signal connection, they couldn't speak to the attendees.

The entire event reminded of TDP's events in Andhra Pradesh and the event happened in a very enthusiastic and electrifying environment. An open and detailed debate was conducted. There was constructive criticism on the things that needs to be bettered in the party, also everyone expressed their views, input and suggestions to bring back TDP to power. TV9, TV5 and Inews provided media coverage. Chandrasekhar Konidela proposed vote of thanks.

In spite of very cold weather, over 400 TDP supporters attended this event and made it a grand success. TDP supporters even drove from New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut for this event.

This event was conducted to express solidarity to Mr.Chandrababu Naidu's paadayathra, to energize the TDP supporters and to discuss the role NRIs can play in bringing back TDP to power. In spite of planning it in less than a week, still the event became a huge success with the tireless effort of the organizing team and support & participation from TDP supporters.
