Harassed housewife commits suicide
Hyderabad, Sept 17 (INN): A 28-year-old housewife committed suicide allegedly due to the harassment of her in-laws for additional dowry.
According to the Begumpet police, deceased - G Navneetha, w/o Santosh Kumar, r/o Airport Colony Shyamlal Building, Begumpet, attempted suicide by consuming nail polish about two months back, as she was unable to bear the harassment of her in-laws, after this incident she was staying at her parents residence.
On Sept 15 Navneetha's in-laws came to her parents place and assured her that they will not harass her in front of panchayat and then she returned with them to her in-laws residence.
Again in-laws started harassing her; under mental depression she took this extreme step and committed suicide by hanging herself.
