Padmashaliya Vanabhojanam Grand Success in Ongole
Ongole, November 16. Under the supervision of Ongole Town Bhakta Markendeya Padmashaliya Bahuttama Sangham, a Vana Bhojanam programme was organised in Thata Lakshmiprasad Kalyanamandapam in ongole on the last Sunday of the Karthika masam, said to be the favourite of Lord Shiva and Vishnu.
A large number of Padmashali community people from near by areas and members of Padmashaliya bahuttama sangham participated in Vana Bhojanam, which literally means eating in forest. The programme was successful with the participation of people with enthusiasm and the traditional food, sports and games arrangements. Vankaay kura, tomata dal, vada, sambar and other traditional dishes were included in the menu and served in Vana bhojanam .
Variety of sports and games were conducted by the organizers for children, men and women. Chirala Telugu Desam party incharge Pothula Suneeta attended the program as chief guest.
