TRS hails Eatala's budget
Hyderabad, March 14 (INN); The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has appreciated the State's budget for 2016-17 presented by Finance Minister Eatala Rajender on Monday.
Speaking to media persons, TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar said special focus has been laid on health and education. He said an unprecedented Rs. 6,000 crore have been allocated for Health Sector. Special funds have been sanctioned to upgrade the facilities in existing hospitals.
Prabhakar said the budget for Scheduled Caste welfare has been enhanced to Rs. 7,000 crore. Similarly, Rs. 3,000 crore has been given to STs, Rs. 2500 Cr for BCs and Rs. 1204 Cr for Minorities Welfare.
