Modi Gets Place At Prestigious Museum Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the latest Indian celebrity to join the ranks of prominent global leaders at prestigious Madame Tussauds in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok. The world famous wax museum announced the news today describing Modi as "hugely important figure in world politics".
The museum said that the team of experts from the museum have met modi at his residence in New Delhi earlier this year.The wax figure of Indian prime minister will be dressed in his trademark "signature kurta" with a jacket. Modi will be featured in a traditional pose "making a namaste gesture".
The launch of the wax statue is expected around late April.Meanwhile a new branch of Madame Tussauds is also set to open in New Delhi in 2017.With this Modi joins the league of indian celebrities like Sachin, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai (2004), Shah Rukh Khan (2007), Salman Khan (2008), Hrithik Roshan (2011), Katrina and Madhuri Dixit.
Modi expressed happiness and said that he have visited Madame Tussauds three or four times and had the pleasure of getting himself photographed standing next to the figures of various dignitaries.
