Geetha Reddy is new PAC Chairman
Hyderabad, March 31 (INN): Congress senior leader and Zaheerabad MLA Dr. J. Geetha Reddy has been named as the new Chairman of Public Accounts Committee of Telangana State Legislature.
The announcement was made by Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary on the last day of budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly on Thursday.
Earlier, the PAC Chairman post was held by Narayankhed MLA P. Kista Reddy. He died of heart attack on August 25, 2015. Later, Palair MLA Ramreddy Venkat Reddy was appointed as the new PAC Chairman. After a brief illness he passed away on March 4.
