Nayani asks officials to prevent Kerela-like fire incidents Hyderabad, April 12 (INN): Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Tuesday directed the officials to stay alert to prevent fire incidents like the one that occurred in a temple in Kerela.
Speaking to media persons after launching Fire Safety Week here, Nayani reiterated Telangana Government's resolve to establish one fire station in each Assembly constituency. He said this target would be achieved in the next one year. He said zero tolerance policy should be adopted towards fire safety. He assured that the government would modernise the entire fire department.
Nayani said that the State Government proposes to introduce online clearance of fire safety certificates. He informed that the Fire Safety Week would be held from 14th to 20th April.
