DK Aruna's brother joins TRS
The Telanagana Congress suffered setback on Wednesday' when one legislator of the party switched over to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti after meeting its president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
MLA from Mahboobnagar's Makhtal constituency, Chittem Rammohan Reddy has joined the TRS party. Chittem Rammohan Reddy is the brother of former minister D.K Aruna. He met the TRS President, KCR at the camp office and joined the TRS party in his presence.
Addressing the media on this occasion Ram Mohan Reddy said he had joined the TRS attracted by its welfare programmes. Rammohan Reddy revealed that he joined the TRS party without any pressure.
He also stated that he and his sister, D.K Aruna's political views were different and that she would continue with the Congress party. The development was a big jolt to Congress.
