This will be launched on 14th April when, like every year, the University will organise a function in the administrative building where the portrait of Dr. Ambedkar will be garlanded and his achievements and services to the nation and society will be remembered in the presence of students, faculty and staff.
During the next year, the University proposes to organise several activities to increase awareness about Babasaheb Ambedkar's contributions to the welfare of society and humanity, in particular his vision of industrialization to generate employment for the poor and deprived sections of Indian society.
A seminar on the Preamble of the Constitution is also being planned. Arrangements will be made to read out the Preamble of the Constitution to the students and employees of the University on 26th of November, which the Government of India is observing as Constitution Day. This was done last year at the University on 26 November 2015. A committee comprising faculty, students and non-teaching staff shall plan out the activities for the year.
