Increase Dalit representation in Cabinet: Narasimhulu Hyderabad, April 14 (INN): TDP senior leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu on Thursday sat on a day-long hunger strike demanding increase in Dalit representation in Telangana State Cabinet.
Narasimhulu, along with Telangana TDP President L. Ramana, Legislature Party leader A. Revanth Reddy and others, paid floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's statue at Tank Bund on Thursday morning. Later, he walked up to NTR Ghat and sat on a hunger strike. He said there are four ministers belonging to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's Velama caste. Of them, three berths are held by KCR's family. No representation has been given to woman in the State Cabinet. He demanded that the Chief Minister reshuffle the cabinet to give adequate representation to Dalits, women and other castes.
