VHR demands reservation in private sector Hyderabad, April 16 (INN): Congress MP V. Hanumantha Rao on Saturday held a day-long sit in dharna at Indira Park demanding reservations in private sector.
Speaking on the occasion, VHR said that the Central and State Governments should introduce reservation system in the private sector. He said jobs in government sector were limited and therefore, reservation in private sector was essential in view of rising unemployment among BCs, SCs, STs, minorities and other weaker sections.
Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy, TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, CPI leader K. Narayana, CPM Secretary Ch. Venkat Reddy and other leaders visited the dharna camp to express their support and solidarity with VHR.
