Over 1.86 lakh appear for SIs test in Telangana
Hyderabad, April 17 (INN): Over 1.86 lakh candidates appeared for the Preliminary Written Tests for 516 posts of Sub-Inspectors in Civil and Armed Reserves categories.
The tests were held at 321 examination centres across the Telangana State on Sunday. Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) Chairman and Addl DGP J. Purnachandra Rao informed that the 95% registered candidates appeared for the test conducted for the post of SIs (Civil) while nearly 12,000 candidates appeared for 23 posts in Communications department.
Reports of protest by the candidates were received from some Centres. Some candidates complained of wrong names of examination centres printed on their hall tickets. For instance, the centre at Himayath Nagar was wrongly printed as Himayath Sagar.
