Experts condemns constructions in Amaravati Hyderabad, April 17 (INN): The environmental experts have condemned the constructions that are taking place in Amaravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Retired Professor of School of Social Sciences Prof. Amitabh Kandu and JNU's senior professor Prof. C. Ramchandraiah visited several places in the new capital region. Speaking to media persons later in Vijaywada, they said that construction activity in Amaravati was taken up without conducting any technical survey.
They expressed wonder over State Government's decision to construct buildings on such agricultural lands which were bearing three crops per annum. They said such decisions would not only create legal, but environmental complications in future.
