Ponguleti resigns from post over PCC's new body Hyderabad, April 20 (INN): Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Wednesday resigned from the party posts while accusing TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy of not consulting him in finalising the new PCC body.
According to sources, Ponguleti has accused Uttam Kumar Reddy of taking unilateral decisions in constituting the new PCC body. He said while other leaders from Khammam district, including Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Renuka Chowdhary, were consulted, the TPCC President did not spoke to him even once. He said although he has been sincerely working for party since several years, he was completely ignored by the party high command.
In protest, Ponguleti resigned from the post of TPCC Executive Committee and as a member of Coordination Committee. He has sent the resignation letter to AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, TPCC President and also Leader of Opposition in Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir.
