Rahul Dravid's Son Hits a Century India's Mr Dependable Rahul Dravid's son Samit seems to be following his father's footsteps. The young kid who is at 10 years of age surprised all by scoring a century in an Under-14 club cricket match.
Samit is representing Bangalore United Cricket Club (BUCC) and he scored 125 against Frank Anthony Public School in the Tiger Cup cricket tournament. Samit was the second-highest scorer and his century includes 12 boundaries. Samit innings helped his team to register crushing 246-run win in the 30-over game for his team.
Samit made the round of newspapers last year when he was named the 'Best Batsman' in a U-12 Gopalan Cricket Challenge in September 2015. Earlier he hit three half-centuries ' an unbeaten 77, 93, and 77.
Incidentally all the three fifties came in match-winning causes.Rahul Dravid is currently mentor of the Delhi Daredevils IPL franchise. He earlier was coach of the Indian junior team at this year's U-19 World Cup in Bangladesh.
