Supreme Court directs Roja for written apologies
YSRCP firebrand MLA Roja who has been fighting legal battle against her suspension from Andhra Pradesh assembly got huge shock in Supreme Court. A Supreme court bench hearing to the plea of suspended YSR Congress MLA, Roja, today directed Roja to write an apology letter to AP speaker for her behavior.
Senior counsel Indira Jai Singh argued Roja's case in the apex court and said that there were political motives behind her suspension.The counsel went on to say to the court there is no recorded evidence of Roja's misbehaviour in the house and the suspension is illegal.
The court after hearing the arguments reserved decision for tomorrow. The apex court clarified that the house will have the final decision over Roja's suspension. The apex court asked the house to consider Roja's apology. It is known that Roja was suspended from assembly for making controversial remarks on TDP leaders. She refused to tender apology in front of the priviliges committee and decided to take the battle in the courts.
As court itself directing Roja to tender apology she has landed in big triouble. Government will have the upper hand even if Roja apologizes or not.
