TRS will win Paleru by-polls: KTR
Hyderabad, April 21 (INN): Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Thursday claimed that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi would comfortably win the Paleru seat in the by-elections being held on May 16.
Speaking to media persons after having an interaction with party's candidate and Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao, KTR said that Tummala was fielded as TRS candidate based on a survey conducted in the constituency. He said majority of people have supported Tummala's candidature and therefore, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has finalised his name.
KTR expressed hope of TRS continuing the spree of winning elections. He said that the ruling party would repeat the results of Khammam Corporation in Paleru by-polls. He said that the by-elections would be one-sided affair. He also informed that permission has been sought from the Election Commission to conduct party's plenary session on April 27.
