TDP may field Nageshwara Rao in Paleru by-elections
Hyderabad, April 21 (INN): The Telugu Desam Party is most likely to field former MP Nama Nageshwara Rao as party's candidates in by-elections for Paleru Assembly segment in Khammam district.
The TDP leaders of Khammam district held a meeting on Thursday and passed a unanimous resolution recommending Nageshwara Rao's candidature. However, the TDP is yet to make an official announcement in this regard.
Meanwhile, Nama Nageshwara Rao challenged Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao to contest the Paleru by-elections after resigning from the State Cabinet. He said Tummala would face a humiliating defeat in the by-elections.
