Four lane bridge over Durgam Cheruvu: KTR Hyderabad, April 23 (INN): Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Saturday announced that a four-lane suspension bridge would be constructed over Durgam Cheruvu.
Speaking to media persons after inspecting the Durgam Cheruvu, KTR said that the lake would be developed as Tourist Spot by GHMC and Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation. He said that the suspension bridge would be constructed at a cost of Rs. 184 crore. Another Rs. 20 crore will be spent to establish cycling and walking tracks around the lake.
KTR said the suspension bridge would permanently resolve the traffic problems on Road No. 45 of Jubilee Hills where several IT companies are located.
GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy and senior officials were also present during the inspection.
