Bhatti welcomes TDP's decision on Palair by-polls Hyderabad, April 24 (INN): TPCC Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday welcomed the decision taken by Telangana TDP of not contesting the by-elections to Palair Assembly Segment in Khammam district.
Speaking to media persons after meeting Telangana TDP President L. Ramana in Assembly premises, Bhatti said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has broke the tradition of getting any one family member elected in case of death of sitting MLA. He said KCR was exhibiting utter arrogance and was interested only in increase his party's tally in Assembly.
Bhatti also informed that several important decisions were taken during TPCC's office bearers meeting held on Saturday. He said that the Congress party would wage a strong agitation against the anti-people policies of TRS Government. He said massive dharnas would be staged at all mandal headquarters on April 27 against the State Government's failure to handle drought situation.
