AP EC Registers Pawan's Jana Sena Sans Symbol The Andhra Prasesh State Election Commission today registered actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan's Janasena Party as an authorized political party.Pawan Kalyan applied for the registration with AP Election Commission on 10th December 2014. The election commission which has started the process asked people to come up with objections if any.
Some objections have been raised from East Godavari district people, but the Election Commission has ruled out those stating that these are not legally feasible. The EC has set aside the objections received to the registration of party in response to the public notice published in the newspapers treating the said objections as unsustainable.
Election Commission registers the Janasena Party as a political party without a reserved symbol. However, the candidates duly set up by this party in any elections will be entitled to preferential treatment over independent candidates in allotment of free symbols.
Pawan Kalyan already announced that he will be contesting 2019 elections. Its known that party is already registered in Telangana last year.
