TDP slams TRS for not discussing drought Hyderabad, April 28 (INN): Telangana TDP senior leader R. Chandrashekar has criticised the ruling TRS party for not discussing the drought situation in the State during its Plenary session.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, Chandrashekar alleged that except for making false promises during elections, TRS leaders learnt nothing else. He said that the entire State was in the grip of severe drought and people in several villages were forced to buy drinking water. However, no TRS leader, including Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao mentioned anything about the crisis.
Chandrashekar said that the TRS Government was collecting Property Tax even in drought affected areas.
