Planning Board VC writes to CM on Pushkaralu Hyderabad, May 19 (INN): Telangana State Planning Board Vice-Chairman S. Niranjan Reddy wrote a letter to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao giving several suggestions for ensuing Krishna Pushkaralu in Mahabubnagar District,
'During our frequent reviews with the Mahabubnagar District Administration and various departments which are involved in the Pushkar arrangements, certain issues have been identified for which a view needs to be taken at the highest level or necessary directions to be given to the concerned,' Niranjan Reddy said in his letter to CM on Thursday.
He said that about 400 acres of farmers' land was required to be taken for parking facilities and other amenities for which clearance needs to be given for payment of money as crop compensation that would be decided.
The Electricity Department in anticipation of money being released and paid to them, may be directed to execute the whole works as required. This will save precious time. It is observed that there is need for having service accesses on NH-44 and necessary sanctions for execution of works may be given in anticipation of the required permission by the NH authorities, he said.
The Planning Board VC said that it was also noted in the reviews held by the Minister for Endowments and Ministers from Mahabubnagar and Engineering Heads of concerned departments including S.P. that the Police personnel is paid only TA and DA, however for other requirements to be met by the Police have to be earmarked and released.
