PAC chairman finds fault with AP Speaker Hyderabad, July 3 (INN): PAC chairman B Rajendranath Reddy questioned the motive of the Assembly Speaker Dr. Kodela Siva Prasad in rejecting the plea by YSRC to disqualify the MLAs who defected to the TDP.
Addressing the media persons here on Sunday, Rajendranath Reddy said that though the YSRC submitted the plea to disqualify the defected MLAs from the Assembly, the Speaker rejected the same, citing technical shortcomings.
The PAC accused the Speaker of supporting the defected members. By rejected the plea to disqualify the defected members, the Speaker indirectly supported them, Rajendranath Reddy said. He said that the party has approached the Supreme Court on the issue and the same would be come up for discussion on July 8.
