Supreme Court strikes down YSRC plea
Hyderabad, July 8 (INN): Supreme Court on Friday struck down a plea by the YSR Congress to disqualify the MLAs who defected to TD, saying the decision was not in the jurisdiction of the court but that of the Speaker of the State Assembly.
The court advised the YSRC to file the case in the Hyderabad High Court. It expressed the view that the High Court would complete the case as early as possible. However, the court refused to give any order to the High Court.
